Ross Campbell

Ross Campbell is Founder & CEO of Beyond Activ.

Ross is a life-long health and fitness fanatic, studying Sports Science and Psychology at the University of Glasgow before attaining a BSci (Upper Hons) in Neuroscience. In his early career Ross was Co-Founder, CEO and then Chairman of the world’s largest energy b2b network (Oil & Gas Council, now Energy Council), expanding the company rapidly across five continents. Once the company was established in Asia, he sold his interests to a multinational events company. In 2016 Ross refocused his efforts to health and fitness, launching The Jungle, an MMA and HIIT gym concept in Singapore, and was an Ambassador for lululemon. Experiencing first-hand as an operator the fragmentation of the industry in Asia, he created FIT Summit, a business network to connect the owners, investors and management of health, fitness and wellness companies. In 2020 Ross co-founded the Singapore Fitness Alliance, the non-profit industry association for Singapore’s fitness industry and advised on the creation of the Indonesian Fitness Alliance and Thailand Fitness Alliance. In 2022 he co-founded Active Franchising, which was merged with FIT Summit in 2023 to become Beyond Activ, which has now grown to become one of the world’s largest business networks for health, fitness and wellness – with the industry’s only global event series, with four events, across four continents.
