Head, Americas - POSITION OPEN (USA BASED)
Location:

Overview:
Responsible for driving business growth, commercial success and fostering client relationships for Beyond Activ across North, Central and South America. The ideal candidate will be confident in sales, business development, and developing a commercial client base, while working remotely. This role is well-suited for a young professional, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for health, fitness, and wellness, and a purpose to help make our world happier and healthier. This is not a management role, it is a client facing role, reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
Three key roles: (1) B2B Business Development and Sales, (2) Client and Relationship Management, and (3) Market Expansion and Brand Positioning. Including but not limited to:
- Identify and capitalize on new B2B business opportunities in the Americas, focusing on key verticals and customers within the health, fitness, and wellness industries.
- Maintain existing commercial partnerships with industry partners across the Americas
- Develop new commercial partnerships with industry companies across the Americas
- Drive improved commercial growth to all Beyond Activ events, especially Beyond Activ Americas event
- Be the main point of contact for commercial matters relating to our Beyond Activ Americas event
- Sell various Beyond Activ commercial products to clients and prospects, including (1) year-long circle memberships (2) event sponsorships, and (3) event exhibitions
- Tailor, write and send commercial partnership proposals and agreements to clients and prospective clients
- Meet regularly in-person with clients, prospects, industry influencers and experts
- Meet regularly online with clients, prospects, industry influencers and experts
- Host a bi-monthly leadership Zoom call with Beyond Activ clients in the Americas (interviewing special guests and connecting our community)
- Help secure high-value speakers to take in Beyond Activ Americas and our bi-monthly leadership calls.
- Participate in industry events, in-person and online, to enhance Beyond Activ’s visibility and network within the region.
- Help organise and host an annual in-person networking reception for Beyond Activ clients and prospects in NYC
- Monitor the investment and product strategies of other media and event companies in the Americas
- Report weekly to CEO on activities and newly gained market insights
Qualifications and Experience:
- This role is best suited for a young professional with high energy, ambition, and a passion for making a significant impact in the health, fitness, and wellness industry.
- Proven experience in a regional role within the health, fitness, and/or wellness industries, with client-facing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success in sales, business development, and growing a commercial B2B client base.
- Strong understanding of industry dynamics, stakeholders, companies and investors
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for clients
- Excellent written skills for commercial agreements and email communication
- Must be a team player but must be able to work autonomously in their own remote environment
- Willingness to attend industry events in-person and online
- Willingness to travel across the US to represent Beyond Activ
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary with performance-based incentives ~USD10k per month
- 5% sales commission on all commercial partnerships sold (event sponsorships and exhibitions)
- 5% profit commission on Beyond Activ Americas event

Business Development Specialist, EMEA - POSITION OPEN (GCC BASED)

Role Overview:
This hybrid role demands a proactive individual residing in Riyadh, capable of effectively engaging with our existing customer base across the Middle East region while also identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in updating and maintaining our customer and prospect database for targeted marketing and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage existing customers across the Middle East region through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to understand their needs, address concerns, and foster long-term relationships.
- Research and map out prospective customers within the Middle East region, identifying key decision-makers and influencers to target for business development efforts.
- Update and maintain a comprehensive database of both customers and prospects, ensuring accuracy and relevance for marketing and business development activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns and strategies tailored to the Middle East market.
- Attend events in Saudi Arabia to help promote Beyond Activ in the region, representing the company professionally and networking with potential clients and partners.
- Part of this engagement involves mapping out a database of the Saudi Arabia health, fitness, wellness, and sports landscape, identifying the companies operating in Saudi Arabia and the contact details of their management teams.
- Your place of work will be hybrid, allowing you to work both remotely from home and from the office of our partner Leejam Sports.
- Assist with Arabic translation as necessary to communicate our ideas from English to Arabic to relevant parties who primarily communicate in Arabic.
- Provide regular reports and insights on customer engagement activities, business development progress, and market trends to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is essential.
- Proven experience in customer engagement, business development, or sales roles, preferably within the Middle East region.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

This position is based in Riyadh and requires the candidate to reside in Riyadh. Occasional travel within the Middle East region, including attendance at events in Saudi Arabia, may be required.

Content and Community Manager (SG Based or Remote Role - Full-time) - POSITION FILLED

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is suitable for someone looking for an entry level role into the health, fitness and wellness industry.
We are looking for a digital-savvy community and content manager to take control of our online voice and build brand awareness within our online community. Your major duty/responsibility is to help promote the FIT Summit and Active Franchising brands/offerings by creating and publishing content on all relevant media platforms, reviewing social media and other marketing metrics to build and improve campaign strategies and responding to customers’ feedback and messages in a timely manner.
You will conduct most of your work online (Social Media Platforms, Community Platforms, Zoom, Phone, Email, WhatsApp, WeChat, LinkedIn, Line, etc). This job does not require face-to-face meetings, so it is perfect for someone who likes to work from home and with flexible hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
- Create engaging and shareable content (text, image and video) to be used on digital campaigns
- Plan and execute community initiatives and programs ((e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
- Monitor and report to the management team on feedback and online reviews

Event Ticket Sales and Registration Manager (SG Based or Remote Role - Full Time) - POSITION FILLED

In this role you will help secure new customers and revenue by selling tickets to our events throughout the year.
You will be selling to businesses operating in the health, fitness and wellness industry (from nutrition to technology, apparel to insurers, franchisors to equipment companies, and apps to business advisory providers). The role is purely B2B sales.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your major duty/responsibility is to communicate with prospective clients (via calls, messages and emails) to sell them event tickets – individual tickets and delegation bundles – to our events.
You will conduct most of your work online (Zoom, Phone, Email, LinkedIn). This job does not require face-to-face selling, so it is perfect for someone who likes to work from home and with flexible hours.
On an average each day you would at a minimum (i) have 5 good conversations and (ii) message 20 prospective delegates.
REQUIRMENTS
- We require sales experience, especially high-volume telesales.
- This is a volume sales role, the more people you contact, the more money you could make. For those not wanting to cold-call or look for prospective clients, this role is not for you.
- You must have excellent communication skills, enjoy being part of a small but highly motivated team, be able to work remotely and independently motivated
- You must be incredibly resilient over inevitable rejections, and professional always to clients and prospective clients.
- High energy, passion, confidence, an interest in fitness and wellness, along with a desire to contribute meaningfully to our business’s success are also preferred requirements.
- Additional language skills outside of English are advantageous.
- Our CRM system is ActiveCampaign, experience of this system or working with similar systems (HubSpot, SalesForce, etc) is also advantageous.
