Safaa Almajthoub is Executive Vice President, Digital Health Center at Ministry of Health (Saudi Arabia).

Safaa is a highly educated and experienced healthcare leader. Alongside her role as CEO of a leading Homecare organization, she also serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Seha Virtual Hospital, the largest of its kind globally. Her strategic expertise and commitment to innovation have driven the success of this groundbreaking project. In addition to her executive roles, Safaa is actively involved in advancing the healthcare sector. She serves as a board member at BLOMINVEST’s Healthcare Fund, where she advocates for progress in the industry. She has also been recognized for her leadership in healthcare transformation, receiving the prestigious Middle East Women Leaders Award in 2022.

Safaa’s influence extends internationally, as she represents the Ministry of Health’s Digital Health Center of Excellence and collaborates with the World Health Organization. Her expertise in healthcare transformation, virtual care, and technology adoption has led to the development of impactful resources in these areas.

At the national level, Safaa chairs the National Committee of Tele-Medicine at Saudi Health Counsel aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to drive the nation’s healthcare sector towards comprehensive and integrated care. Her dedication to excellence and visionary leadership have positioned her as a dynamic force in healthcare.
