Emmett Williams GAICD is a globally recognised leader in the health and fitness industry, currently as Managing Director, APAC at ABC Fitness.
As a founding partner of Myzone, he helped scale the wearable tech company to over 9,000 gyms and 2.5 million users worldwide, experience that now informs his work driving ABC Fitness’s growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
After more than a decade in the USA, Emmett returned to Australia where he leads ABC Fitness’s APAC operation, the world’s leading fitness software company powering over 42 million members across more than 100 countries. He also serves as Chair of AUSactive and Council Member of the Global Health & Fitness Alliance, both focused on advancing and protecting the sector through research and government advocacy. Through his leadership of the Fit For Office initiative, he has worked extensively with Federal Parliament to champion preventative health in national policy, bringing the same operator-first perspective that shapes his work at ABC Fitness. He is also an AUSactive Roll of Honour inductee, recognised for his outstanding contribution to the industry. Emmett is also a speaker at Beyond Activ Asia in Bangkok, Thailand.
