Professor Jirí Dvorák

Jirí Dvorák is Professor of Neurology at the University of Zurich, Senior Consultant in Neurology and Research at the Schulthess Clinic, Spine Center in Zurich and Co-Founder at BDMS Wellness Clinic.

In 1994 he became Chairman of F-MARC (FIFA Medical Assessment and Research Centre) and Chief Medical Officer to FIFA. As FIFA Chief Medical Officer he was in charge for the medical organisation among others of  6 FIFA World Cups and 5 FIFA Woman World Cups and 4 Football competitions at the Olympic games . He is a Senior Advisor of the British Journal of Sports Medicine and was Deputy Editor of SPINE, is widely published with 462 original articles. He has contributed to Spine Research with original papers on clinical biomechanics and to Sports Medicine in particular on injury prevention. He is Co-Founder and Board member of CISG Association. His current research activities are focused on prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases. He is consultant to the Board of Schulthess Clinic Zurich, he served as chairman for 35 years and consultant of BDMS Wellness Clinic / BWC in Bangkok. E is the leading Co-author of the 2022 published book “Health brings Wealth”. He has received numerous awards for his research work on the Spine&Sport and is Honorary Member of Spine Society of Europe (2018), he cofounded 1990, ISAKOS (2017) and Czech Medical Academy 2018.
