Alex has started his career in the Fitness & Wellness industry in Brussels, Belgium and has worked himself up from a part time receptionist to a business leader overseeing multiple locations in various continents such as Europe, Middle East and Asia. Being curious and keen to learn the luxury service segment, yet still have the business mindset from running standalone clubs, Alex joined the luxury hospitality industry where he was in charge of developing Wellbeing/SPA & Fitness programming as a Director of Spa / Recreation for various brands such as Hyatt, IHG.
With the experience gained from the hospitality industry, Alex felt it was time to move back into the multi-site club fitness industry and share his newly acquired skills and vision on improving the guest journey of each club member, improve retention and maximize profitability. To further expand his knowledge and add value to the industry, Alex is now working for Life Fitness overseeing the Hospitality, Corporate & Multi-Unit Housing segment for Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong.
Earlier in his life, Alex was part of the Taekwon-Do National Team of Belgium and represented his country of adoption to various International, European and World Championships. His best achievement was placing 3rd at the 2011 World Championships in New Zealand.
