Donal is the Partner leading the Middle East and Africa office for Portas Consulting, a management consultancy dedicated to the sports and fitness sector.
Donal has worked on 100+ sports and fitness projects in the Middle East, including Ministries of Sport, sports federations and the private sector. He has worked with multiple fitness chains in the Middle East market on their strategies and plans, including the market leaders and emerging brands in the fast growing Saudi Arabian market. He has also helped international fitness brands on their market entry plans for the Middle East. Donal holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, LLM from Harvard Law School and LLB from University of Glasgow. He has previous experience at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Goldman Sachs, Roland Berger and Yale University.
Donal is also a speaker at Beyond Activ EMEA in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
