James Hathaway

James Hathaway has over 25 years’ experience working across retail, consumer, and leisure sectors. He is currently working for the PureGym Group, developing their international footprint. The PureGym Group is the UK’s largest gym operator and has over 500 sites in Europe, North America & the Middle East. PureGym is a low cost, high quality flexible model offering accessible fitness – the business currently has 1.7m members. James began his career at the retailer, Marks & Spencer. He has worked for and consulted with privately-owned, PE-backed and plc. businesses. He has a passion for developing brands internationally and extensive experience of doing this across all customer channels and all operating models.
