Jim Pisani

Jim Pisani is Chief Executive Officer of Life Fitness, the global leader in commercial fitness
equipment, joining the company in July 2023.

Under Jim’s leadership, Life Fitness continues to transform in its vision to be the world’s
workout partner of choice by building aspirational brands and experiences. Jim is focused on
delivering a seamless customer journey, while driving innovation across cardio and strength. In
2024, Life Fitness launched its most innovative and immersive cardio equipment line, Symbio.
To meet the evolving needs of strength training market, the company continues to innovate its
strength lines, including its leading performance brand, Hammer Strength.

Jim brings more than 25 years of experience to his leadership role, focused on global outdoor,
recreation and sports apparel brands and developing high performance organizations. Most
recently he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Outdoor & Recreation Business Segment of
Newell Brands.  In this role, Jim led the expansion of iconic global brands including Coleman,
Marmot, Contigo and Campingaz, while building a purpose-led and performance-driven culture.
Prior to Newell, Jim served as Global President of Timberland where he executed sustainable,
profitable growth within a brand portfolio that included Timberland, Timberland PRO, Kodiak,
Terra and Dickies. He also served as President of VF Licensed Sports Group where he oversaw
the uniform and apparel licenses for Major League Baseball, as well as the apparel licenses for
the National Football League, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League and
National Collegiate Athletic Association. He also executed growth strategies for major consumer
brands including PepsiCo and Kraft.
