Melinda Yon

Melinda Yon is the Corporate Spa and Wellness Consultant for the Capella Hotel Group, where she spearheads innovative concepts, new openings, and the spa brand refresh program.

With twenty years of industry experience, Melinda has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Capella Hotel Group, COMO Group, and Six Senses among others. She brings a wealth of expertise in managing turn-key projects—encompassing strategy, conceptualization, project planning, technical services, execution, and pre-openings—to daily spa operations, business planning and management, financial accountability, and training and development. Melinda has been a spa business owner, the writer and editor of AsiaSpa Men magazine, judge and MC, and a member of the Global Wellness Institute’s Workplace Wellness Initiative. She began her career in marketing before transitioning to the wellness industry and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing. With a passion for nurturing the next generation of leaders, she also holds numerous training and development qualifications and was a senior lecturer at Republic Polytechnic’s School of Hospitality.
