Bradford Smith is Chief Development Officer at PureGym & PureFitness, The U.K.’s largest gym chain and Europe’s second-largest fitness operator, with over 2 million members, 600 gyms and fitness clubs, in 6 Countries. 

Brad has over 25 years of experience in franchise development and operations for PureGym / Pure Fitness franchisees as the Brand grows aggressively now with multi-unit operators in the United States.  With successful experience focused on the Hotel, Real Estate, Commercial Cleaning, Co-Working, Restaurant and Family Entertainment Center (FEC) franchise industries, Brad has been responsible for growing brands globally from start-ups to over 3000 individual locations.

Additionally, Mr. Smith has spoken and paneled at IFE, IFA, WCFE, MUFC and many other industry specific functions, related to development, support, growth and operational issues, while also working aggressively with many Consultant and Broker Networks in the franchise world. Having seen many franchisees and franchisors navigate the development process, Brad is a big proponent in awarding quality multi-unit and regional developer franchisees into the PureGym / Pure Fitness System, so that all will benefit from the further investment in marketing, advertising, leads, member sales, and most importantly, exit strategy valuations for each multi-unit franchisee stakeholder.
