Emma Sofie Igelström is Former Olympian, now Head, Swimming at Leejam Sports Company.
Emma is a Swedish swimmer and successful sports consultant. During her swimming career, she broke seven world records and won five World Championship gold medals, making her one of Sweden’s most prominent swimmers. After retiring from competitive swimming, she worked as a consultant in sports management, contributing to the development of structures and strategies for clubs and sports federations.
Today, Emma serves as the Head of Swimming at Leejam, where she has led the BLU Swimming Academy to become one of the world’s largest swimming academies in just one year. Her experience in both swimming and sports management has made her an important figure in the sport, and her work continues to inspire both swimmers and coaches around the globe. Emma Igelström is an excellent example of how passion and professionalism can come together to create success.
