Zach Apter

Zach Apter is Chief Marketing Officer at Playlist, the parent company of Mindbody, Booker, ClassPass, EGYM, and Kite.

Prior to the introduction of Playlist in 2025, Zach served as CMO of Mindbody and, before that, as SVP of Consumer Revenue & Growth, where he led pricing, packaging, yield management, marketing, and business development. Zach began his tenure at ClassPass in 2015, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer. 

Earlier in his career, Zach was Head of Business & Competitive Strategy for Google’s self-driving car project (now Waymo) and General Manager of Microsoft’s global Corporate Strategy team. He began his career at Mercer Management Consulting and co-founded Stadia Group, a SaaS company helping professional sports organizations yield manage their ticket inventory. Zach holds a degree in Economics from Stanford University and is the named inventor on multiple patents in consumer technology services. Zach is also a speaker at Beyond Activ Americas in Dallas, USA.
