Sam has been at the leading edge of spa & wellness in Asia-Pacific for over 23 years. Recognised with multiple awards, Sam is one of the region’s most experienced consultants, having worked with leading brands across the spectrum of business types, including: spa, medi-spa, wellness centres, health resorts, healthy office developments and entire wellness communities. Returning to Australia after 20 years in Asia, Sam has recently re-established the Australasian Wellness Association, aka ‘ASWELL’. As a long-time industry activist, Sam’s mission for ASWELL is to unite and strengthen the wellness industry (spa, beauty, fitness, holistic, allied health & functional medicine) through the five pillars of unity, advocacy, quality, growth and sustainability. Beyond her non-profit work, Sam consults across the hospitality and real estate sectors, and is co-founder of The Wellness Makers – an online portal that empowers budding entrepreneurs to be their own consultant; to create and run a sustainable, successful business that brings them joy.
