Mr Sean Tan is a Director of True Group, a Singapore brand which currently has 24 clubs in Singapore and Taiwan under the TFX, True Fitness, True Yoga and Yoga Edition yoga and fitness brands. In 2019, the Group launched its premium yoga facility Yoga Edition in Taiwan and three gyms under its new TFX brand in Singapore which offers technology-enabled training and tracking, and fitness concepts and programmes curated from the world over to provide members with choice and results. Sean plays a vital role in leading True Group’s strategic business directions and maintaining its relationships with key external stakeholders. Sean also holds office as the Group Legal Advisor for TongFang Kontafarma Holdings Limited, Neo-Neon Holdings Limited and Technovator International Limited (all listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange). Sean’s passion lies in the sports and fitness industry, having previously been the Co-Founder and COO of Football Asia, which hosted the Soccerex Asia Forum, and co-founded the Fandi Ahmad Football Academy. A trained lawyer, Sean was a Founding and Senior Partner at Premier Law LLC, and a Senior Partner at Tan Kok Quan Partnership. He was Legal Counsel for Team Singapore at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Sean also serves as a Board member of The Smile Mission which organises medical missions for cleft palate and lip operations around Asia.
