Dane Fort

With over 21 years in leadership roles, Dane Fort’s career in fitness and wellness spans five countries.   In his present role as Chief Executive Officer of Fitness & Lifestyle Group Vietnam, he oversees the operations of 55 fitness clubs and beauty clinics employing over 4000 staff across seven cities in Vietnam.
 
As one of the founding partners of California Fitness in Vietnam, Dane’s 13 years is driven by a vision of improving the health of all of his adopted homeland’s 96 million people.  This vision for the fast growing southeast Asian nation has seen him pioneer both an industry and revolution in wellness in the country.  
 
Dane’s career began in his native US, where he joined 24 Hour Fitness – then the world’s largest privately owned fitness company.  He made his mark there as one of its top sales and marketing professionals and was offered the opportunity to join the Group’s Asia subsidiary, California Fitness.  This saw him operating fitness centers in both Hong Kong and Malaysia.
 
Dane is a rigorous advocate for wellness and fitness. The avid outdoor sportsman regularly participates in marathons and triathlons around Asia and has an enviable daily fitness regime that reflects the passion with which he promotes his industry.
 
The father of two is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Business School and speaks native English, fluent Cantonese and basic Vietnamese.
