Dr. Steven Lu
Dr Steven Lu is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Everlab, one of Australia’s fastest-growing health tech companies, building the operating system for preventative primary care.
A doctor for over 15 years, with training spanning neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, intensive care, general practice and psychotherapy, he left traditional medicine because the system was designed to wait for disease, not prevent it.
At Everlab, he’s built a tech-enabled platform that combines advanced screening, AI-powered biomarker analysis and early disease detection with the clinical support to actually change outcomes. He played a key role in launching Australia’s first commercial whole-body MRI screening service and leads cardiology research at the University of Sydney on genetic predictors of heart disease. He also educates future GPs through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
His mission is simple: deliver as much health, for as many people as possible, at the lowest lifetime cost.
