Celebrating Americas' Leading Health, Fitness & Wellness Brands and Executives

Our Awards of Excellence recognize leading companies and executives from across the health, fitness and wellness sector in the Americas Region. Each award is given based on achievements and successes in the past 12 months. (Oct. 2025 – Oct. 2026). In 2026 we will present 10 awards: (1) App Of The Year, (2) Deal Of The Year, (3) Franchise Of The Year, (4) Technology Company Of The Year, (5) Facility Design & Experience, (6) Boutique Of The Year, (7) HALO (Fitness & Wellness) Company Of The Year, (8) Executive Of The Year, (9) Industry Appreciation Award and (10) Lifetime Achievement Award. The awards are voted for by our Leadership Circle as well as our event speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. Once our finalists are decided (~6 weeks before the event), we share the submissions for each category with our judges, who then vote on their best-in-class for each award. Our award winners are announced on 12 November at the ceremony.

2026 AMERICAS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD WINNER

Edgard Corona, Founder & Chairman, Smart Fit. Edgard has over 30 years in fitness and wellness, including founding Bio Ritmo and then Smart Fit. He has truly pioneered the Latin American industry, transforming its roots, ambition and horizon forever. With over 2,000 clubs and 5.5 million members, he has changed the lives of tens of millions of people – an incredible service to the world in making it a happier and healthier place. Smart Fit continues to grow, now globally, with one of the best reputations anywhere in the world in terms of excellence, governance and shareholder return. In early 2026, Edgard transitioned to the role of Chairman. With these amazing milestones now hit, it is fitting to honour him this year with this award. He is an inspiration to so many in our industry and we are proud to recognize his continued service and your growing legacy.
