Lou Lentine is the Founder and CEO of Echelon Fitness, a leader in connected fitness technology that blends innovation, AI, and wellness to improve lives.
Since 2017, Lou has built Echelon into a global platform that delivers intelligent, accessible, and engaging fitness experiences both at home and in commercial environments. Today, Echelon produces up to 2,000 live classes each month from nine studios in Chattanooga, Miami, and Dubai, supported by thousands of on-demand workouts. Members can train with expert instructors across cycling, rowing, boxing, yoga, and more—all powered by AI-driven personalization, adaptive resistance, and real-time performance tracking. The platform also includes AI virtual rides for bikes, treadmills, and rowers, as well as interactive gaming through the FITos platform, merging fitness and entertainment to keep members motivated.
Echelon’s reach extends far beyond the home. In 2021, the company launched a complete commercial fitness line, including a full range of cardio equipment and the Strength IQ AI-powered strength training systems. These solutions are now deployed across major gym chains, hotels, and wellness facilities worldwide, bringing the same innovation and personalization to large-scale environments that members enjoy at home.
Lou’s vision for Echelon is to stand at the intersection of fitness, wellness, and longevity—using technology not just to power workouts, but to help people extend their vitality and improve overall health.
Before founding Echelon, Lou spent three decades as an inventor and entrepreneur, filing more than 100 patents and creating some of the most recognized consumer products in the world. Among them, the Star Shower holiday lighting system sold over 20 million units in just a few years, while the Hurricane Spin Mop, Renu-it Battery Regenerator, and Mighty Jump emergency car starter became international bestsellers at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, HSN, and QVC. His entrepreneurial journey has earned him numerous honors including the World Trade Book of Honor Award, Exporter of the Year, Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 & Fast 500, University of Central Florida Alumni of the Year, and a nomination for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
Lou Lentine continues to lead with the mindset of an inventor—turning ideas into platforms that combine design, AI, and wellness to help millions of people move better, live healthier, and pursue longer, more connected lives.
