Emlyn Brown

Emlyn Brown joined Mandarin Oriental as Group Director of Spa, Leisure and Wellness, responsible for shaping the Group’s global wellness vision and leading the evolution of spa, fitness and leisure experiences across all properties.

Emlyn’s remit encompasses the development of innovative wellness concepts, design excellence and the integration of wellbeing into every aspect of the guest journey. He brings more than 20 years of international experience in the wellness and hospitality sectors. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Emlyn was Senior Vice President of Wellbeing, Strategy & Design at Accor, based in Paris, where he led global wellbeing innovation across the Group’s luxury and lifestyle brands. Earlier in his career, he held senior global roles including Global Design Director and Managing Director Asia at Resense Spas in Geneva and Beijing, as well as Wellness Director at GOCO Hospitality in Bangkok, where he developed concepts and operational strategies for leading brands such as MGM, Ritz-Carlton, Starwood, Emaar and Viceroy. He also spent three years with Six Senses Hotels and Resorts as Spa Operations Director for Europe and Asia Pacific and began his career in luxury health clubs with Holmes Place, overseeing the development of its Swiss and German portfolio. Emlyn is also a speaker at Beyond Activ EMEA in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
