12 Quick-Fire Questions with Executives Leading Our Industry to a Brighter Future

How do you describe your company in one sentence?
Fitstop is a functional group fitness franchise delivering a structured strength and conditioning program in a team environment. We are proud to have now launched over 165 studios across 4 counties.

What target/milestones are you laser-focused on this year?
2025 we have a split focus, maturing as a brand in the APAC region and growth in the USA. Both regions are supported by a relentless team dedicated to increasing overall network revenue.

What is your proudest ever career achievement?
We were named #2 on the AFR fast growth list the same year we hit our 100th studio open. This was a great validation point as a founder. Over the last 12 months I am very proud that as a business we have really matured and are operating efficiently as a multi nation corporation.

What excites you the most about the next 12 months?
Rebecca and I have moved to the USA to drive growth and brand awareness, it’s a big risk but brings massive opportunity to share what we are truly passionate about.

What is the best business lesson you have ever learned?
There are times to lean in and push hard and there are times to pull back and ride things out. As a founder it’s easy to want to continue to sprint. Sticking to the plan is very important to play the long game.

If you could wave a magic wand and change something about our industry, what would you change and why?
More connection, we are all pushing for the same goal (or at least should be) the more we can all support people just moving their bodies the bigger the industry will grow.

Describe yourself in three words
Passionate, stubborn, interested.

What is your personal mantra?
Progressions always – We build brick by brick!

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
My wife Bec, 100% belief, always honest feedback and has the strongest work ethic I have ever seen.

If you had an extra hour in your day, how would you spend it?
I would spend it at the beach, it’s the place that gives me the most clarity and energy.

If you could have dinner with any three people – past or present – who would they be?
Adam Sandler, Henry Ford, LeBron James.

If you had to write a message on a billboard for all to see, what would you write?
