Samantha Costa

Samantha Costa is Founder of CHARLI Health, a health innovator, researcher, and clinical leader with over 15 years of experience improving outcomes across reproductive, sexual, and pelvic health.

With a background in nursing and midwifery and postgraduate qualifications in Reproductive Medicine and Women’s Health, Samantha’s career spans diverse healthcare settings, including remote Indigenous communities in Far North Queensland. Her unique blend of frontline insight, academic rigour, and systems-level thinking has shaped her into a trusted leader in women’s health and digital health innovation. Samantha is internationally recognised for her research, including receiving the ESHRE Nurse Award for her work on fertility tracking apps, and contributing to Australia’s National Endometriosis Clinical Practice Guidelines. She is a published author, keynote speaker, and currently serves as Secretary of the Fertility Nurses of Australasia and Nurse Manager at Eve Health.

As the founder of CHARLI.Health, Samantha is driving the next era of personalised care for those assigned female at birth. CHARLI is Australia’s first AI-powered health platform purpose-built to support individuals across every life stage, from puberty to menopause and beyond. By combining artificial intelligence with longitudinal data, CHARLI delivers tailored insights, real-time support, and access to the right health experts, when and where they’re needed most. More than a digital tool, CHARLI represents a new standard of care—one that’s inclusive, evidence-based, and equity-driven.
