How do you describe your company in one sentence?
Hapana fuels the ambition of fitness businesses, working together to create a healthier world.

What target/milestones are you laser-focused on this year?
We are laser-focused on delivering our modernization project—building and launching a next-generation platform with an AI-first approach, enabling a smarter, more seamless experience for operators and members alike.

What is your proudest ever career achievement?
Receiving a scholarship for an MBA and successfully completing the program in just 12 months. It was a year of intense personal growth, discipline, and learning—and it shaped how I lead today.

What excites you the most about the next 12 months?
The speed at which technology is advancing—especially AI—and how we can harness it to radically improve both the backend efficiency and frontend experience across the fitness industry. We’re moving faster than ever, and it’s energizing to be at the forefront.

What is the best business lesson you have ever learned?
Hire people you would work for. The strength of your team is everything. Leadership isn’t just about directing—it’s about surrounding yourself with individuals who challenge, inspire, and elevate you. accountability lives.

If you could wave a magic wand and change something about our industry, what would you change and why?
The fitness industry has a deeply rooted culture of in-person connection, which is its strength—but also its challenge. I’d eliminate the resistance to technological change. Too many operators stick with legacy systems or manual processes, missing out on the efficiency, insights, and member engagement that modern platforms can offer. If we embraced innovation more quickly, we’d all be moving faster toward our potential.

Curious. Strategic. Grounded.

What is your personal mantra?
“Be clear on the ‘why’, relentless on the ‘how’.”
Purpose drives progress—and persistence gets it over the line.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
My father. His work ethic, humility, and unwavering belief in doing things the right way—not the easy way—shaped how I approach both business and life.

If you had an extra hour in your day, how would you spend it?
Deep thinking and reflection—away from the noise. I find that the most valuable ideas come when I have space to zoom out and connect the dots.

If you could have dinner with any three people – past or present – who would they be?

Shane Warne – one of the greatest cricketers who transcended the sport. A dinner with him would be equal parts cricketing genius and unforgettable stories.

Winston Churchill – for his clarity in crisis, strategic mindset, and command of language. His leadership during adversity remains a masterclass in resilience and conviction.

My younger self – to share some hard-won lessons and say “you’re on the right track.”

If you had to write a message on a billboard for all to see, what would you write?
“Strong teams build strong futures. Invest in people, not just product.”
