12 Quick-Fire Questions with Executives Leading Our Industry to a Brighter Future

How do you describe your company in one sentence?
Bodytech is a leading fitness and wellness company in Latin America, combining state-of-the-art facilities, medical-backed exercise programs, and digital innovation to transform lives through movement and health.

What target/milestones are you laser-focused on this year?
This year, we are focused on expanding our Athletic Gym brand, enhancing our digital ecosystem to offer more personalized training and nutrition plans, and strengthening our community engagement to make fitness more accessible and sustainable.

What is your proudest ever career achievement?
Building Bodytech from a single gym into one of the largest fitness chains in Latin America, impacting thousands of lives through health and wellness, and proving that exercise is a powerful tool for disease prevention and longevity.

What excites you the most about the next 12 months?
The opportunity to continue innovating in the fitness industry, integrating more AI-driven personalization in training programs, expanding the High-Value Low Price (HVLP) model with Athletic, and furthering our commitment to sustainability in our operations.

What is the best business lesson you have ever learned?
Growth and success come from resilience, adaptability, and a relentless focus on delivering value. You can’t control external challenges, but you can control how you respond to them.

If you could wave a magic wand and change something about our industry, what would you change and why?
I would change the perception that fitness is optional and make structured exercise programs a fundamental part of preventive healthcare, supported by governments and health insurance systems.

Describe yourself in three words
Passionate, resilient, visionary.

What is your personal mantra?
“Better than yesterday.” Continuous improvement, in business and life, is the key to success.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
Michelle Obama—her leadership, resilience, and advocacy for health and wellness inspire me.

If you had an extra hour in your day, how would you spend it?
I would split it between 2 things:

Learning: I’d dedicate part of that extra hour to exploring the latest trends in AI and digital innovation, especially in how technology is shaping industries like fitness and healthcare. I’ve spent hundres of hours surfing the web, consuming insights from thought leaders, business strategists, and tech pioneers, and I believe staying ahead of technological shifts is crucial for any entrepreneur. AI is transforming industries at an unprecedented pace, and those who embrace continuous learning will be the ones who lead the future.

Reflection & Strategy: The other part of that hour would be used for deep thinking—without distractions. In a world constantly connected and fast-moving, stepping back to reflect on long-term goals, strategic decisions, and personal growth is invaluable.

If you could have dinner with any three people – past or present – who would they be?

  • Michelle Obama – for her leadership, resilience, and advocacy for health and wellness. She has redefined what it means to be an influential woman in business, politics, and social change.
  • Leonardo da Vinci – to understand his genius and insatiable curiosity. He was a master of multiple disciplines, and his ability to innovate across art, science, and engineering is truly inspiring.
  • Walt Disney – for the magic of serving. He didn’t just build an entertainment empire—he created experiences that brought joy to millions. His vision, storytelling, and customer-centric approach revolutionized how businesses connect with people.

If you had to write a message on a billboard for all to see, what would you write?
It’s better to have 70% of something than 100% of nothing.
