  • China smart fitness brand Speediance successfully secured 50M Yuan, a deal led by Oriza Holdings and Haiyi Investment.
  • In Japan, microbiome-focused drug discovery startup Metagen Therapeutics closed 1.7B Yen across two Series A rounds
  • In India, healthcare-focused venture studio 2070 Health landed $30M from W Health Ventures
  • Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra invested in Indian personal care brand Clensta as part of a $9.1M pre-Series B round
  • Indian hospital network Mykare Health raised $2.01M to improve the patient experience.
  • WatchYourHealth, a health tech startup from India raised $2.2M in a Seed round by Conquest Global Ventures
  • BoAt Lifestyle launches in India as Asia’s first Smart Ring competing with Oura, it tracks your health and fitness metrics, including heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and temperature
  • Back in Singapore, Amili, a Singapore-based precision gut microbiome firm, secured an undisclosed investment from Indonesian VC firm East Ventures
  • Singapore-based DTC menstrual care brand Blood raised S$2M in a Series A round led by D2G Consumer Partners

  • COMO Group in Singapore is launching COMO Orchard, an impressive 19-storey establishment encompassing a hotel and a Michelin-starred restaurant.

  • Verve InfoTech crowdfunded half a million dollars to develop its proprietary power meters in the sports performance and healthtech sectors
  • Club Lime, owned by Viva Leisure, opened its 103rd Club Lime in Robina Queensland. They added 20 corporate locations to their network this financial year.
  • Plus Fitness sold 4 new territories last month to end the financial year strongly which is a great effort by the team
  • Xponential celebrates their 350th studio open outside of North America with StretchLab Rozelle in Sydney, Australia
    Self Esteem Brands expand their brands, announcing a new franchise Sumhiit Fitness, CWG their Australian Master Franchisee will open the 1st location in late Q3
  • StretchFit is hosting their first StretchFit summit – several short courses for StretchFit teachers and interested practitioners including PT’s, massage therapists and physios
