Janna Hellerup Ulvselius is the Secretary General at Friskis&Svettis Rik, the national federation of the Swedish movement known for inclusive and joyful training experiences.
With a strong background in the non-profit and health sectors, Janna has also served as Secretary General at En Frisk Generation, an oganisation working with health promotion for families. Prior to that, she held key roles at Stockholms Stadsmission, where she contributed to social enterprise, second-hand retail development and labour-market integration.
At Friskis&Svettis, Janna drives the strategic agenda, focusing on accessible training for “the many” and strengthening the brand’s role in public health and the community. A dedicated sport enthusiast, she has served as a trainer and elected official, and still plays handball at a recreational level.
With her leadership, Friskis&Svettis is steered toward a future where movement, fun and well-being are tightly interwoven, while rooted in an inclusive and democratic association structure. Janna is also a speaker at Beyond Activ Europe in Madrid, Spain.
