John Caraccio

John Caraccio has over two decades of experience in the global fitness industry, leading the expansion and transformation of the iconic World Gym brand.

In 2001, he introduced World Gym to Taiwan, recognizing the market’s untapped potential. In Taiwan the brand has grown to become Taiwan’s largest fitness chain, with 140 company owned clubs and over 500,000 members. In 2024, John spearheaded the company’s public listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (2762-TW), further solidifying its industry leadership.

In October 2024, John led a milestone acquisition, bringing World Gym International under Taiwan ownership. As Chairman and President, he is now driving the brand’s global expansion, with a strategic focus on APAC and North America. John is also an active participant in shaping the industry’s future. In May 2026, he will be attending the Beyond Activ Asia in Bangkok, where he will serve as a guest speaker in a key discussion, sharing insights on the evolving fitness landscape.
