Dr. Ethan Lim is Head of Clinical Strategy & Partnerships at Fullerton Health, supporting corporate and community health and wellbeing.
His clinical experience spans more than 2 decades in sports medicine, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation and lifestyle intervention with a focus on behavioural change as part of functional health, preventive health and performance optimisation.
He obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore and his Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Team Physician certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. He also received his Sports Medicine Certificate with the International Olympic Committee and his Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Singapore. Dr Lim was Chief Medical Officer for Team Singapore in the 2013 Asian Youth Games, 2014 Asian Games and the 2023 Summer Games for Special Olympics. He serves on the Sports Medicine Association Singapore’s Executive Committee and is a Medical Advisor to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore and to the NTU Sports Advisory Committee. He is also a fervent advocate of lifestyle intervention and prevention for chronic non-communicable diseases and has a keen interest in healthcare financing and sustainability in healthcare systems.
Dr Lim was previously Head of Clinical & Wellness at Cigna Singapore, responsible for clinical governance and wellness strategy for private & corporate health insurance. He was also Head of Governance, Analytics and Partnership in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), working on policies and initiatives that supported the mental and general wellbeing of all 40,000 staff and students in the NTU community. His current work at Fullerton Health culminates in building an equitable and sustainable healthcare ecosystem focusing on prevention, value-based care and collaborative care models.
