{"id":43043,"date":"2023-11-03T11:49:59","date_gmt":"2023-11-03T03:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beyondactiv.com\/events\/?post_type=all_speakers&#038;p=43043"},"modified":"2024-10-16T22:02:17","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T14:02:17","slug":"david-van-daff","status":"publish","type":"all_speakers","link":"https:\/\/beyondactiv.com\/events\/speakers\/david-van-daff\/","title":{"rendered":"David Van Daff"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">David Van Daff is Vice President, Industry Development &amp; Public Affairs at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasm.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nasm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Academy of Sports Medicine<\/a> (NASM).\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in fitness, wellness, and sport, David Van Daff brings a vast level of expertise in fitness industry business operations, multi-facility management, and training and education to the NASM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As&nbsp;Director, Global Industry Development, Van Daff leads the NASM Health Club Industry Division that includes ClubConnect, the global industry\u2019s premier fitness education, and training platform.&nbsp;Prior to rejoining NASM, he served in roles as Executive Vice President of Fitness for Fusionetics and Vice President of Business Development and Public Affairs for NASM.&nbsp; In addition, Van Daff&nbsp;lead&nbsp;fitness operations, personal training, and education for over 400 health clubs at &nbsp;Bally Total Fitness for 14 years.&nbsp;He is often interviewed by national media \u2013 including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CNN, The New York Times, Shape, &nbsp;Men\u2019s Fitness, Men\u2019s Health, and InStyle \u2013 for his expertise&nbsp;in fitness, health and wellness industry.&nbsp;Van Daff holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas and a Master of Science from the University of Tennessee. He also has an extensive array of certifications and credentials in personal training, corrective exercise, fitness nutrition, performance enhancement, and weight loss.
