Troy de Haas holds the position of Partner and leads the Asia-Pacific Sports & Entertainment Practice at the esteemed global executive search firm, Odgers Berndtson. With a career spanning over two decades in the sports industry, he served as the Head of Sports & Marketing at BMC in Switzerland and held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing at the Thanyapura sports resort in Thailand. Subsequently, he founded the TDH Sport & Entertainment marketing agency in Hong Kong. Troy\u2019s extensive knowledge and unique expertise in the field enable him to collaborate with clients across various segments of the sports and entertainment industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a former elite athlete Troy has represented Australia at the international level in Mountain Running and Orienteering where he became the first ever Non-European to medal at a World Championships. Passionate about the development of sports leadership talent in Asia-Pacific, he has a unique blend of executive and sports management experience, which gives him the ability to bridge the gap between sport and business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the past twenty years, Troy has dedicated his efforts to competing, studying, and working internationally in Sport. Presently, Troy is based in Melbourne, as a headhunter where he collaborates closely with Odgers Berndtson\u2019s Global Sports & Entertainment Practice.
