It was awarded \u201cBest New Hospital in Asia Pacific\u201d and \u201cSmart Hospital of the Year in Asia Pacific\u201d in 2016\/2017 respectively.<br><br>With more than 30 years tenure in both public and private practice, Dr Low brings to this role his operational and medical knowledge. He formerly held the positions of CEO of Gleneagles Hospital and as Medical Affairs senior executive across Bio-Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and CRO industries at Shire\/Takeda, Covidien\/Medtronic, Schering Plough\/MSD, Covance and Glaxo Wellcome(now GSK), spanning more than 30 years.<br><br>Having been conferred the Icons of Healthcare \u2013 Leading Healthcare Management Professional of the year in 2018, Dr Low was also awarded the \u201c50 Most Talented Healthcare Leaders of Asia\u201d award as well as \u201cBest CEO of the Year\u201d in 2016 and 2017 respectively. In 2018, he was awarded the \u201cRare Disease Champion Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific\u201d and was also later recognized as the \u201c Most Media Savvy Personality \u201d in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, Dr Low as awarded the Public Service Medal (Covid-19) \u2013 PBM \u2013 Pingat Bakti Masyarakat for outstanding contributions to Singapore\u2019s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
